In Portland, our dense canopy of mature Douglas firs, maples, and oaks is a defining feature of our neighborhoods, but it also requires hands-on management. Overgrown limbs encroaching on rooflines, diseased trunks, and storm-damaged branches can quickly turn from natural beauty into serious liabilities. At Cascade Tree Works, we provide professional tree removal, trimming, and stump grinding services designed to protect your home, clear your views, and keep your landscape healthy and safe year-round.
We understand that dealing with a hazardous or fallen tree is stressful, which is why we prioritize fast communication and clear pricing. From the moment you request a free on-site estimate, our team works to assess the situation and provide a straightforward plan of action. For urgent situations after a windstorm or heavy snow, our crew is available for 24/7 emergency response to safely clear trees from roofs, driveways, and power lines without causing further damage to your property.
Safety is our absolute priority on every job site. Our crew is fully licensed and insured with both general liability and workers’ compensation, giving you complete peace of mind while we operate heavy rigging and pruning equipment near your home. Once the primary work is complete, we don’t just leave you with a pile of wood; we include thorough clean-up and debris removal so your yard is left clean, safe, and ready for you to enjoy.

I had a big old tree in my backyard that was more of a danger than anything recently. It was leaning dangerously close to the home after a storm so I called this tree service. Right from the beginning they were really responsive and easy to work with. They were there to check out the situation and described the tree removal process in a way that made sense and without trying to upsell unneeded services. The crew arrived on time on the day of the project and were very efficient. Most of all I liked that they were careful with my property and did not destroy the plants and structures near the tree when they removed it. They did the tree stump removal and left the yard clean and ready to use again. Also very helpful in advising me on future maintenance like tree cutting and pruning to avoid problems like this again. Service was smooth and professional and would be happy to use them again if I had need.
